Whenever the temperature is below 32 degrees, The Family Center opens its conference room to allow homeless to be warm. We want to provide a meal for them as well.

Warming Station Information for Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday:

This is for anyone who is without heat this weekend (not just homeless).

First United Methodist Church will be open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM The address is 222 W 7th Street.

West 7th Church of Christ will be open from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The address is 405 W 7th street.

The Family Center will be open from Friday night at 5:00 PM until Monday morning at 7:00 AM. The address is 921 S. Beckett.

Showers and limited laundry is available at The Family Center.

Animals will be allowed at The Family Center but they must be in crates/cages and the owners must stay with the animals at all times.

Please share with anyone you know that does not have heat or a warm place to stay. We want everyone to be safe this weekend.

Weather Alert: Warming Station Open

The weather forecast shows temperatures will drop below 32 degrees on Sunday and Monday. The Family Center’s Warming Station will be open both days to provide a safe and warm place for those in need.

Check-in begins at 5:00 p.m. at The Family Center, and dinner will be provided.
