Our third night of was wonderful! Jaimee Jingerbread made a special appearance to read Christmas stories to everyone, and Judy, Angela, Joanie & Kelly volunteered for the night serving cocoa, selling books & ornaments, and making crafts. We will be hosting our space in “Higbees” once again tomorrow night from 5pm to 9pm.

Our first night of Christmas in Hohenwald was a blast! We’ll be in “Higbees” again tomorrow night and next weekend with cocoa, books, crafts, and stories. Every bit is free but we happily accept donations to benefit Lewis County Public Library and Archives. Merry Christmas!

Apologies for the late reminder, but due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, our monthly meeting will be one week early this month. We will meet tomorrow (Monday, Nov 17) at 4:30pm at the depot. Please join us for fellowship and planning for upcoming library events.🦃

We’re excited to announce that the Library & Archives, together with the Meriwether Lewis Chapter of the Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Alliance, will co-host the Tennessee premiere of the new documentary Big Medicine: York Outdoors! 📽️

Join us on Thursday, September 12 at 7:30 PM for this special screening under the stars on a large outdoor screen. 🌌 In the event of rain, we’ll move inside for a cozy indoor showing.

This powerful documentary explores the connections between York's legacy and outdoor recreation as it follows eight adventurers on a four-day river expedition along the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument in Montana.. and we’re honored to share it with our Lewis County community before its public release this fall.
