As many of y’all know our main transport volunteer(really the only one) had her van quit running this week. Until we can raiae enough money to buy a new van or have one donated by government or business in our community, then we will have to close admissions. We are the only county in the surrounding area with no animal control and no shelter. Since 2014 we have done that work and never received any money from the county. We run 100% on donations. I can’t tell you how many animal cruelty cases and calls I have been on for this county and have received nothing in return. Those cases were heard right here in our county courthouse and not once were we ever reimbursed or giving help. I know most people will say that our county is too economically disadvantaged to provide those services, yet counties that are very similar to ours do provide animal control and a shelter. We are asking no we are begging this community to come together and help us find transportation so we can continue to do this work. I have reached out several government agencies and private businesses to see if they have any vans or vehicles that we might could purchase and we have started a fundraiser and so far we have only raised $470. We NEED your help! We can’t do this by ourselves! Please consider donating or help us find a cheaper vehicle to purchase! Without it we can not continue our work of saving animals in the community! Furrever Precious Kittys still has Kittys that deserve their Furrever homes where love and joy await. They come fixed vetted and vaccinated.
These two precious little ones are 12 days old and are bottle fed. One is a boy and the other girl. They are thriving and gaining weight every day. They will be ready after their spay and neuter procedure.

Everyone goes through a screening process which includes veterinary checks and personal references.

✅ A reduction in the spread of FIV, a virus spread between cats by deep bites/puncture wounds received while fighting.
✅ Longer lifespan: outdoor intact male cats tend to get hurt or die while roaming in search of a female in heat. Neutering removes the urge to roam.

Sterilizing our community cats is beneficial to the community as well. Cats that are spayed/neutered during the TNR process are healthier animals and make better neighbors. Complaints of overpopulation, fighting, yowling, and marking will decrease, making the cats more welcome members of the community. Sterilization also saves taxpayer and animal welfare dollars as fewer animals will be captured, impounded, and eventually euthanized due to illness, injury, or lack of homes. Save a life! Spay or neuter all the cats -- your pet(s) and those outdoors.

In a heartwarming display of compassion, Furrever Precious Kittys has selflessly donated its entire rescue cat population to Horse Plus, with transportation arrangements set for Monday morning, showcasing the power of community and kindness in times of need.
