We’re proud of our leadership program graduates, who continue to make things happen in Howard County.

Meghan Belcher, LP ’24, was selected as M&T Bank’s Chairman’s Club Winner.

Jen Broderick, LE ’15, who’s retiring from Bridges to Housing Stability, received the Empowering Women Award from the Howard County Chamber of Commerce.

Jess Duvall, LP ’14, was named executive director of Bridges to Housing Stability.

Felix Facchine, LP ’25, was promoted to chief of staff for Howard County Executive Calvin Ball.

Tim Lattimer, LP ’26, was appointed to deputy chief of staff for Howard County Executive Calvin Ball.

Brian Shepter, LP ’26, joined the Saul Ewing LLP law firm.

Leadership Premier’s Class of 2026 attended our signature Safety Day event this week. Class members visited the West Friendship Volunteer Fire Department to learn about Howard County’s vital public safety organizations and their missions. Thanks to everyone who participated!

Artificial intelligence is rapidly shaping how organizations work, communicate and make decisions. This month, challenge yourself to build confidence using AI as a tool. Start with one simple exercise: choose a task you regularly do, such as drafting an email, brainstorming ideas or summarizing information and use an AI tool to support it. Review the results, refine the prompt and reflect on how the tool helped or fell short. The goal isn’t perfection, but curiosity and learning. Leaders who experiment thoughtfully with AI today will be better prepared to guide their teams tomorrow.
