๐Ÿ’š Online Adult Mental Health Screener โ€“ this is a safe, easy, and free service that allows users 18 years and older to anonymously take a Self-Check Questionnaire and connect with a professional counselor who can offer guidance, support, and resources to help connect them with mental health and substance use disorder services. ๐Ÿ’š Online Kidsโ€™ Mental Health Screener โ€“ this safe and convenient free service allows parents and guardians to anonymously take a self-check questionnaire on behalf of their child and connect with a caring professional, who will provide guidance, support, and resources to help them access mental and behavioral health services for youth. Do you feel like you've lost yourself outside of being a parent? You're not alone. ๐Ÿค

When so much of your identity is rooted in caring for others, itโ€™s easy to lose sight of the parts of you that exist outside of being a parent.

Caregivers on the South Carolina Parent Advisory Council recently discussed how they have overcome feelings of being stuck, learned to prioritize self-care and let go of some of the pressure to have everything "figured out."

Sea Haven for Youth provides a safe place for youth and families in crisis in Horry County. โค๏ธ They support families during difficult times, such as homelessness, mental health crises and family conflict through 24-hour crisis support and other programs and services.

Their services include โฌ‡๏ธ

๐Ÿ“ฑ 24-hour hotline for emotional and community support at 844-394-6414.
๐Ÿ“ 24-hour walk-in services at 280 Hwy 57 South, Little River, SC 29566.
๐Ÿ  Youth Crisis Center, for youth ages 12 to 17 experiencing homelessness, truancy, extreme conflict at home, or transition under the care of the state.
๐Ÿ’ก Young adult services for youth ages 18 to 24 to successfully transition to independence, with assistance in housing, employment, education and more.
๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿง’โ€๐Ÿง’ Free parenting programs, including the Strengthening Families Program and Parenting with Love and Logic.
