🇮🇱 Another unforgettable stop in the Holy Land–the beautiful Garden of Gethsemane! 🌿❤️

Located at the foot of the Mount of Olives, this is where Jesus went to pray with His disciples on the night before His crucifixion.

Here, Jesus prayed, “Not My will, but Yours, be done.” (Luke 22:42). He knew what was ahead of Him, yet He willingly surrendered to the Father’s plan out of His incredible love for us.

It’s amazing to stand in this peaceful garden, surrounded by ancient olive trees, and reflect on the tremendous price Jesus was willing to pay for our salvation. What a powerful reminder of His love, obedience, and the victory He won for us! 🙌

🇮🇱 Exploring Jerusalem! ❤️ Our adventures through Israel continue, and this time we’re exploring the incredible city of Jerusalem! We started the day at the Mount of Olives where Jesus ascended to Heaven. It over looks to Kidron valley towards the Eastern gate of the city. The gate is blocked up now but that won’t stop Jesus return through it! Ezekiel 43 and 44 lay out the details for us.

🌿 Palm Sunday Path — We also walked the path commemorating Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, when the crowds welcomed Him with palm branches, shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” (John 12:13).��🛍️ Local Market — We enjoyed walking through a bustling Jerusalem market, taking in the sights, sounds, and atmosphere of this historic city!

What an amazing experience to walk through the streets of Jerusalem and reflect on the events that changed the world forever!

🇮🇱 Our journey through Israel continues with a visit to Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus! ❤️Our group had special permission to go to Bethlehem, which is part of Palestine.

One of the highlights was visiting the **Church of the Nativity**, one of the oldest churches in the world, built over the cave believed to be the very place where Jesus was born!

We had the incredible opportunity to see beneath the church. The grotto where Jesus is believed to have been born is located there. Imagine standing in the place where the King of Kings entered the world as a baby! 🙌

📖 “For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” — Luke 2:11

What an amazing reminder that God's promises are faithful and that Jesus came into this world to bring us life, hope, and salvation!

🇮🇱 Our next stop took us to the Golan Heights, right along the Syrian border, where we enjoyed a breathtaking view of Mount Hermon!

From this vantage point, we could also see military bunkers, a reminder of the region's strategic importance and the history that continues to unfold here.

Mount Hermon is also where Jesus was transfigured before Peter, James, and John, revealing His glory to them in an extraordinary moment recorded in Matthew 17.

It's amazing to see the contrast between the ancient biblical history of this land and the realities of the modern world, all while taking in such incredible scenery.

Another unforgettable stop on our journey through Israel! ❤️🇮🇱

🇮🇱 What a breathtaking view of Mount Hermon! ⛰️❤️ Here we are looking out at the majestic Mount Hermon, the location where Jesus was transfigured before Peter, James, and John.

📖 “His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.” — Matthew 17:2

Imagine witnessing that moment as Jesus revealed His glory, with Moses and Elijah appearing beside Him and the voice of the Father declaring, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” 🙌

Standing here and seeing this incredible landscape makes the accounts of Scripture come alive in a whole new way. What an amazing reminder of the glory and majesty of our Savior!

Here we are at the Jordan River, at the place where the Israelites crossed into the Promised Land under Joshua's leadership (Joshua 3). After 40 years in the wilderness, God miraculously stopped the waters of the Jordan so His people could cross on dry ground and step into the land He had promised them! 🙌

This area is also believed to be the location where John the Baptist baptized Jesus, marking the beginning of His earthly ministry (Matthew 3:13–17).

It's amazing to stand in these waters and reflect on God's faithfulness throughout generations. The same God who made a way for the Israelites and sent His Son to redeem us is still faithful to His promises today! ❤️

🇮🇱 Standing at the Gates of Hell!

Our journey through Israel brought us to one of the most fascinating places in biblical history—Caesarea Philippi, where Jesus made His powerful declaration that the gates of hell would not prevail against His Church! 🙌

Here, we explored the ruins of the ancient Temple of Pan, a center of pagan worship where sacrifices were offered. The enormous cave opening was once believed to be an entrance to the underworld, earning it the name “Gates of Hades.” Because it appeared to be a bottomless pit.

Imagine Jesus bringing His disciples right into the heart of this darkness and boldly declaring:

📖 “On this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” — Matthew 16:18

We also stood near one of the sources of the Jordan River, which flows from beneath the rocky cliffs, and saw an illustration of what the Temple of Pan would have looked like in Jesus' day.

What a powerful reminder that Jesus was never intimidated by darkness. He came to overcome it! And today, His Church still stands on that same victorious promise. ❤️🔥

🇮🇱 “The gates of hell shall not prevail!” — Matthew 16:18 🙌

WOW! What an incredible experience to stand in the place where Jesus fearlessly walked into the heart of darkness and declared the power of His Kingdom!

Here at Caesarea Philippi, we visited the ancient Temple of Pan, a center of pagan worship where Jesus brought His disciples and declared to Peter, “On this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it!”

And overlooking this incredible location is Mount Hermon, the site of Jesus' transfiguration!

It's amazing to stand in these places and be reminded that Jesus wasn't intimidated by darkness. He came to establish a Kingdom that cannot be shaken, and the gates of hell will NEVER prevail against His Church! ❤️🔥

🇮🇱 Another incredible stop on our journey through Israel—the ancient city of Dan! 📸

This time, we explored Tel Dan, a place filled with thousands of years of biblical history. From the days of Abraham to the kings of Israel, it’s amazing to see these places still standing today!

🚪 The Gate of Abraham — One of the most fascinating stops! This ancient gateway dates back to the time of Abraham and is known as the gate through which he entered the city of Dan. It’s so old that a protective structure has been built over it to preserve it!

🏛️ The King’s Gate — We visited the ancient city gate and the king’s seat, where Solomon sat at the entrance to the city of Dan. Imagine standing in the very place where kings once sat and conducted business!

🐂 Tel Dan — We stood at the site where King Jeroboam established a place of worship for a golden calf, leading the people of Israel into idolatry (1 Kings 12:28–30).

We also looked across Israel’s northern border toward Lebanon and saw how modern military positions have made use of the ancient city’s walls. It’s a striking reminder of how history continues to unfold in this region.
