The Children's Hunger Project On empty stomachs, kids don’t have the energy to focus, engage, learn and grow.

The Children’s Hunger Project provides kid friendly weekend and school break food packages to Brevard elementary students on free/reduced lunch—filling in the gap from Friday lunch to Monday breakfast for kids who might otherwise go without food. Yet, this is the reality for many children who worry about when they’ll have their next meal. Every week, The Children's Hunger Project helps as many ele

mentary school children as possible to carry kid-friendly food home in their backpack.…it's lightweight, easy for kids to handle, and no cooking is required. On Monday, the kids return to school but with a better and healthier foundation for learning. Thanks to many volunteers and supporters, we have served Brevard County children on school weekends without missing a single week, since 2010. To continue serving and help those still on the wait list for weekend food fuels our passion and compassion to work on behalf of hungry children locally.

Think your team has what it takes? Gather 5 friends, coworkers, family members, or fellow superheroes and join us for our Spooktacular Packing Relay!

Teams will go head-to-head in a fast-paced packing competition for the ultimate prize: bragging rights and the title of Children’s Hunger Champion! 🏆

But this competition is about so much more than winning. ❤️

The school year is underway, and our weekend food packages are already heading out the door each week. With the number of children we serve continuing to grow, food donations are one of our biggest needs right now!
