A Special Thank You to Julia!

Sometimes the biggest hearts come in the smallest packages.

We want to give a special shout-out to Julia, who stepped up at the last minute to help tag ducks for the Great Brevard Duck Race. At just 13 years old, she volunteered her time, worked hard, and helped make sure another thousand ducks were ready for race day.

Volunteers like Julia remind us that community spirit has no age limit.

A huge THANK YOU to Waterfront Solutions for helping make Crosswinds 28th Annual Great Brevard Duck Race possible!

Today their team is at Riverfront Park installing our water based race course that will help guide thousands of racers safely to the finish line. Behind every successful Duck Race is a team of dedicated community partners like Waterfront Solutions willing to roll up their sleeves and do the hard work that most people never see.
We are grateful for Waterfront Solutions’ expertise, support, and commitment to our community. Their work helps ensure a safe, fun, and successful event for everyone attending on Saturday.

Thank you Don and Anna Nesbitt, and the entire Waterfront Solutions team, for helping our ducks stay on course and helping Crosswinds Youth Services continue serving local youth and families.

A special THANK YOU to ELASTEC for their generous support of Crosswinds 2026 Great Brevard Duck Race!

Another Cocoa based business, ELASTEC graciously provided all of the bright yellow floating containment boom that will serve as our race course . This highly visible safety barrier is essential to a safe, organized, and successful event for our thousands of racing ducks.

Community partnerships like this make events such as the Great Brevard Duck Race possible, and we are incredibly grateful for ELASTEC’s support and commitment to our community.
