Meet Michelle T., a 50-year old Air Force Veteran who was doing everything she could to stay on top of her bills. When her car suddenly broke down, she lost the only transportation she had to get to work. Her job-and her stability- were at risk.

That's when NVHS stepped in. We covered the cost of her vehicle repairs so she could keep working and stay on track. Since receiving assistance, Michelle has successfully transitioned out of temporary housing and is now securely and independently housed.

We are proud to support Veterans like Michelle on their path to long term stability.

Behind that number are real people facing real challenges - often beyond employment alone. Many veterans are also navigating barriers like housing instability, health concerns, and lack of transportation, all of which can make rebuilding stability incredibly difficult.

Many veterans in Brevard County continue facing financial and personal hurdles that put them at risk of homelessness long after the holiday season has passed.

Access to the right resources can make all the difference. While transitional housing is designed to provide short-term support based on each veteran's unique needs, the goal of our programs is long-term stability, independence, and a path forward.
