She’s waiting for someone to show up. 💛

A young person in the Bedford Heights area is heading into her senior year—and preparing to age out of foster care. She’s looking for a mentor who is open-minded, easy to talk to, and part of the LGBTQ+ community.

She loves hiking and being outdoors, computers, and video games. She may take a little time to warm up, but the right mentor could become someone she trusts, counts on, and stays connected to.

She has goals—including obtaining her driver’s license—and she’s looking for someone who can help her navigate what comes next and build a future with stability, independence, and support.

She may be shy at first, but once she opens up about the things she loves, her personality shines. She’s fun, outgoing, and ready to build a meaningful connection.

🏮 Lanterns of Hope was a night to remember!

Children, youth, and families experiencing foster care came together for an evening of dinner, adventure, laughter, and time together at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo’s Asian Lantern Festival.

Because of the generosity of our Cleveland Angels community, families had the opportunity to enjoy a night of fun, connection, and lasting memories—experiences that provide a sense of normalcy and simply give families a chance to enjoy being together.

We’re so grateful to everyone who donated, sponsored a child or family, volunteered, and helped make this experience possible.

A special thank you to Honey from the Rock - the Cleveland Foster Care Closet for partnering with us, Cleveland Diagnostics for creating so many fun activities for the kids, SpeedPro Cleveland West for their generous in-kind support, and Savvybcreative for capturing the evening.

Big smiles and an exciting new chapter for the Cleveland Angels team! 🌟

We're celebrating both an ending and a beginning.

As Laura prepares to begin an exciting new chapter pursuing graduate school in London, we want to take a moment to celebrate her and thank her for the incredible impact she has made at Cleveland Angels.

Throughout her three years as our Case Manager and Young Professionals CARE Staff Liaison, Laura has served youth, families, and volunteers with compassion, dedication, and a genuine heart for others. Her commitment to building meaningful relationships and supporting those she serves has left a lasting impression on our organization and community.

While we will certainly miss Laura, we are so excited to see where this next adventure takes her! 💙

One evening. So many reasons to celebrate. 💙

Recently, youth in our Dare to Dream® program spent the evening at Macy's Strongsville, shopping alongside their mentors and caregivers for school and work essentials.

Thanks to Macy's for hosting and supporting this special evening. Our youth had the opportunity to prepare for the year ahead with the support of trusted adults by their side. Together, they picked out clothes, shared conversations, and built memories that will last far beyond the shopping trip.

We also took time to celebrate our 2026 graduates with cake and a special recognition of their incredible accomplishments. We are so proud of each graduate and can't wait to see what comes next.

Thank you to our mentors, caregivers, volunteers, and everyone who helps make moments like these possible. Your support reminds our youth that they are seen, celebrated, and never alone.
