The family- style group homes are established to encourage as normal a living environment as possible and to provide the least restricted and mos

t independent living arrangement possible. The supported living program responds to the desires and self-expressed needs of the each client, and strives to deliver in-home assistance to individuals with IDD, enabling them to live in settings of their choice. The Welcome House page is intended to be a place for community members to share their experiences, questions, ideas and experiences as they relate to our shared interests and helping all those with an interest in or dealing with developmental disabilities. Comments are always encouraged, as long as it’s not offensive. We’re talking about helping others after all! So if you wouldn’t say it in someone’s living room, it’s not welcome here!
