On Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, we honor every child whose life ended far too soon and hold close the parents who carry that love and grief each day. Though their children may have rested in their arms only briefly, or never at all, they remain forever part of their families and forever cherished.

A woman facing an unexpected pregnancy should never be told that her dreams can continue only if her child’s life ends. We can stand beside her with the practical help, encouragement, and love she needs to build a future for herself and her baby. Compassion protects them both.

Today is National Heroes’ Day, and we honor the staff and volunteers at Pregnancy Resource Centers. They answer the late call, stock the diapers, sit with the scared mother, and stay until she and her child have a real next step. No cape. Just a steady yes to both lives. THANK YOU!

Today would have been Fannie Lou Hamer's 109th birthday!

Hamer — a survivor of police brutality, white supremacist attacks, and forced sterilization — devoted her life to working for peace and justice. As an anti-abortion feminist, she didn’t leave anyone behind in her work.

In her words, “Nobody’s free until everybody’s free.”
