🏡 Cleveland: Two new homes are on the way to Detroit Shoreway. Eligible residents (households at or below 80% AMI) will be able to purchase these homes at an affordable rate thanks to the Ohio Department of Development's Welcome Home Ohio program and the Cuyahoga Land Bank.

We're excited to announce that CHN has received an Ohio Low-Income Housing Tax Credit award and a 4% Low-Income Housing Tax Credit allocation from the Ohio Housing Finance Agency for Near West Side Homes, a new development in Cleveland's Clark-Fulton and Stockyards neighborhoods. The development will create 65 Lease Purchase single-family homes for households earning at or below 60% of Area Median Income (AMI). Qualified residents are able to purchase these homes at an affordable price after a 15-year rental period. Big thanks to Jasmin Santana, Cleveland City Councilwoman Ward 14 and the City of Cleveland for their support.

Construction is anticipated to begin in fall 2027 with a 2028 completion.

On Wednesday, CHN was thrilled to join McGregor Communities and Elyria Mayor Kevin Brubaker to break ground on Lorain County’s first senior housing and health complex. McGregor Landing, located behind Elyria’s McGregor PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) Clinic, will be an independent-living building providing 115 seniors with an affordable and safe home. McGregor Landing is anticipated to open in fall of 2027 with applications opening in June 2027.
