Cleveland Peace Action Cleveland Peace Action advocates for peace and justice, globally, nationally, and locally. Cleveland Peace Action is an affiliate of national Peace Action.

Cleveland Peace Action began as the Greater Cleveland Nuclear Weapons Freeze Campaign in 1981. We support the goals of the national organization but also advocate our own positions and policies, especially those with local relevance and interest. Cleveland Peace Action is on the cutting edge of the peace movement, linking globalization and militarization, and articulating policies that would create "real security" for our nation. Our Mission: To reduce the treat of violence, war and terrorism by working through peaceful, just and democratic means.

The United States wants a reactor on the moon by 2030. A Russian-Chinese alliance is working on one for 2036. Some leading scientists say the danger is great.

OHIO VOTERS: LET’S ASK OUR REPRESENTATIVES TO TAKE A PLEDGE.

We’re asking candidates and elected representatives across Ohio to make a clear public commitment:
No money. No gifts. No sponsored travel. No material support from foreign governments or lobbying organizations, including Israel and AIPAC.
Our representatives should be accountable to the people of Ohio. And as genocide and apartheid continue in Palestine, we are asking our elected officials to reject financial relationships with organizations enacting policies that contribute to human rights violations.
