Food Strong's mission is to use fresh foods as a tool to educate, empower, and cultivate health throughout Northeast Ohio. We have a School Garden program, our Care-A-Van community outreach events, Youth Entrepreneurship, and our newly-launching Care Strong Project, a partnership with UH Family Medicine, Salvation Army and the Case Western Reserve PA Program. The Care Strong Project is a wellness

Today, we celebrate Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and recognizes the ongoing pursuit of freedom, equity, and justice.

At Food Strong, we believe that access to fresh, healthy food is a fundamental right, not a privilege. Food justice is deeply connected to social justice, and we remain committed to building stronger, healthier communities by increasing access to nutritious food, educational opportunities, and economic empowerment throughout Northeast Ohio.

As we reflect on the significance of this day, we honor the resilience, contributions, and leadership of Black communities who have shaped our nation and continue to inspire positive change.

At Food Strong, we believe everyone deserves access to fresh, healthy food and the opportunity to thrive.

We have always been committed to supporting at-risk populations, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, and working to ensure that food justice is accessible to all.

We were honored to kick off Pride Month by participating in the parade vendor fair and connecting with so many incredible individuals, families, organizations, and advocates. Events like these remind us that strong communities are built through inclusion, compassion, and collective action.

As we celebrate Pride Month, we remain proud to support LGBTQ+ communities and all those working toward a more equitable future where everyone has access to the resources they need to live healthy, fulfilling lives.
