Senate Bill 421 is now heading to the Ohio House of Representatives for consideration.

Legislation approved by the Ohio Senate would give victims of sexual assault five years instead of one year to file civil claims. Supporters contend that trauma's impact on survivors' can affect their ability to come forward.

Men and boys who are survivors deserve:
🔹To be believed.
🔹To thrive.
🔹To be taken seriously.

Men and boys who are survivors DON’T deserve:
❌ To be treated as a punchline.
❌ To be ignored.
❌ To feel alone.

June is Men's Mental Health Month. 1 in 4 men in the U.S. have experienced some form of sexual violence in their lifetime. To male survivors, please remember that reaching out for support is a sign of strength, not weakness. Your healing matters and you deserve to be treated with care, compassion, and respect.

Cleveland R**e Crisis Center is here for you – always. Text/Call (216) 619-6192 or (440) 423-2020 or chat online at clevelandr**ecrisis.org/chat any time, day or night.
