Last month, Thomas Zimmerman, M.S.Ed., LPCC provided a hands-on training for CRCC's ther**eutic services team on Predictive Processing Flash, a technique that aims to process trauma memories without triggering emotional distress. We are grateful to Thomas for equipping our providers with another tool to support survivors in their healing journeys.

Recently, Jessica Martin, Cleveland R**e Crisis Center’s Chief Program Officer, spoke with Cleveland.com. In this article, Jessica shares insight on consent, barriers to reporting, and the impact high-profile cases can have on survivors in our community.

Breaking the silence stops sexual violence.

We can create safer spaces by looking out for each other. If you see something online or in real life that doesn’t feel right, step in, speak out, or report the situation. These things might feel small in the moment, but they can make a huge difference for survivors of sexual violence.

Not sure if a situation is okay or not? As long as it's safe to do so, check in anyway. It’s better to step in than to ignore it.

Need to talk? We’re here to listen.
