Every cat’s happily ever after looks a little different. ❤️

At Euclid Beach Cat Project, our mission is to curb cat populations and help heal their mind, body and soul. Through trap, neuter, return (TNR), we usually return cats to where they came from. When that isn’t possible, a carefully chosen barn home can give them a wonderful life. Horse barns are our favorite, with sturdy shelter from the elements and dedicated caregivers.

Over the past few years, one special farm has welcomed our cats on four separate occasions. Their caregiver has wonderful enclosures and gives them plenty of time to settle in, build trust and recognize the farm as home before letting them out. We’ve seen cats leave other placements, especially when released too soon. For our cats, we feel even six to eight weeks isn’t always enough, and we’re grateful this farm can give them longer.

The collage also includes some of the cats we placed there years ago, looking healthy and happy! They receive wet and dry food daily, veterinary care when needed, and the freedom to live comfortably on their own terms.

For cats who are unsocial or semi-social, spending years waiting to become someone’s companion isn’t always fair. Grey Goose, Timba, Capone, Star, Silver and Janet deserve a happy ending that fits them.

We are so grateful to the people who make these homes possible. These cats are loved, even when loving them looks a little different.

🚨 WE GOT THE CALL WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR. NOW WE NEED A MIRACLE. 🚨

After hearing from so many board-certified surgeons that they simply could not perform the procedure Vaona needs, Ohio State University called. They are taking her on as an ER case and bypassing what would have been a four-month wait to get her in for a consultation on October 19.

After that consultation, we can finally move toward scheduling her surgery.

Businesses — we need sponsors.
Individuals — we need donors.
Everyone — we need SHARES.

This is the chance we have been fighting for. Now we need help making it happen.

How are these two STILL waiting? 🖤🤍

Rock Hudson and Marko didn’t arrive as a pair. They simply met while waiting for their forever homes and somewhere along the way decided, “Yep. I like this guy.” And honestly, look at them. 🥹

At 9 years old, Rock Hudson is a gentle, easygoing guy who gets along beautifully with other cats. He may be toothless, but that doesn’t slow him down one bit. He happily eats both wet and dry food and still has plenty of personality and pep.

Marko is the younger half of this friendship, a sweet tuxedo boy who loves being petted and brushed and genuinely enjoys both people and feline companionship. He just prefers to keep all four paws on the ground rather than being carried around.

These guys would be wonderful adopted together, but they are not a bonded pair and can absolutely find homes separately. That said, there’s something pretty special about going into a brand-new home with a buddy you already know and trust. Having that familiar face beside them while they learn the sounds, smells and routines of a new environment could make that transition so much easier for both of them.

If they’re adopted separately, we’d definitely like to see each of them go to a home with another friendly cat. They’ve both shown us how much they enjoy feline companionship.

They’ve been waiting far too long, and people are seriously missing out on two fantastic cats.

Maybe their person just hasn’t seen them yet. Help us change that by sharing. 🖤

Ready to meet Marko, Rock Hudson, or maybe BOTH?
