We had an amazing time at Cuyahoga County's Family Fun Day, where families came together to enjoy activities, bubbles, live music, and free food while connecting with local organizations and resources. From Forest City Academy to Cleveland Water to Queen IAM and so many more, the community showed up and showed OUT! This is what it's all about: bringing people together, sharing resources, and having a great time doing it. 💙

Our 3rd Annual Unity in Wellness Partner Breakfast reminded us the work you put into your own self care is just as important as the work we do in our communities.

We gathered with our incredible community partners over a beautiful breakfast catered by Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with the joy behind the work. Partners shared words of inspiration with our alumni, got creative with DIY aromatherapy lotion bars, and walked away with some amazing raffle prizes!

On August 14th, we had the wonderful opportunity to be a part of Cleveland's 2026 Success Fair!
The Huntington Convention Center was filled with 200+ employers, free professional clothing, headshots, haircuts, résumé help, a legal clinic for record sealing and expungement, OSHA certifications, school supplies, and so much more.

Whatever barrier stood in the way, there was a resource ready to help break it down - we are grateful to be part of the many community partners there helping to break down barriers to employment!

Last month, the Care-A-Van brought live music, fresh flowers, free produce, and community resources right to the heart of St. Clair-Superior...and it's coming again next week!

Join Food Strong at Superior Farm on Monday, August 25th from 2:00–4:00 PM for another Care-A-Van! Stop by for free fresh fruits & veggies, health screenings, cooking demos, and wellness activities.

On August 8, Towards Employment celebrated 50 years of community impact at our Annual Community & Alumni Block Party held in partnership with the St. Clair Superior Arts Festival. The streets came alive with live performances, original artwork, and local entrepreneurs showcasing their talents. Our TE Community Village connected attendees with resources and education on local initiatives, while families walked away with book bags courtesy of our partners at Anthem just in time for back-to-school season. We also raffled off some bikes, brought some big smiles to the winning families!
