Business Leaders Need Discipleship, Not Just Another Request to Give
What happens when a business owner feels that their church is more interested in their financial resources than in their spiritual growth?
In this short clip from the Stewardship Leader Podcast, Chad Everett of Purpose Factory shares an important reminder for church leaders:
If we approach business leaders primarily as a way to increase giving, we've missed the purpose of ministry.
Our responsibility is to disciple them, not simply to benefit from their generosity.
Business owners and marketplace leaders have tremendous opportunities to influence their employees, customers, families, and communities. But they need the church to walk alongside them, helping them understand how to faithfully steward everything God has entrusted to them.
When we begin with humility and a genuine desire to serve these leaders, we create opportunities for meaningful discipleship that extends far beyond the walls of the church.
