Remember when we rescued that kitty in the Flats last week? Her name is Autumn! 🍁🍂🐈
Here’s where YOU come in….
So many people describe the exact details of the perfect cat they want to adopt; well- here she is!!!
✅ Young, but not a kitten (1 year old)
✅ Friendly (VERY!)
✅ No health concerns (she tested negative for FIV/FeLV) 💕
✅ Snuggles! She falls asleep on my shoulder
✅ Playful! Give her toy balls and he’s happy for hours!
✅ A calico - everyone says they want a calico
✅ Up to date on all vaccines
✅ Spayed

Come on people- she is everything folks want when they say they are looking to adopt a cat!!!!!
I know what you’re going to ask: “how is she with other cats”? She hisses a bit at my cats under the door but they’ve never been properly introduced and little Autumn has been through a LOT! In one week she was dumped, put into a new foster area, taken to the vet, etc etc etc…. And through it all: still a sweet, sweet kitty.

Who dumped an already ear tipped cat in a totally new area?! Well, we found the aftermath. This crying, hungry, but still friendly (although skiddish) kitty. No chip.

We have a route volunteer holding her but that’s only because we’re still a skeleton crew and need some more fosters for long term.

This morning we rescued this sweet elderly lady kitty who was left alone after everyone in her community moved out. She is safe in a foster home but we’ve got to get her to the vet!

She is a total doll — just look at that face. There’s no doubt she’ll be the perfect rescue cat for anyone who will have her!

🚨 URGENT 🚨 Is anyone able to help? We have a senior kitty that desperately needs to come inside before the weather starts to change. This might be a forever foster situation, but we don’t have anyone to step up and help this incredibly sweet baby. Supplies + vet care are provided. From the finder:

“Hi sorry to be a bothersome person but the guy saw today that he lives to Puerto Rico next month and he is worried about the cat because she won't eat unless he feeds him no one else no matter how much she meauws not even the guy who wants to get rid of her 😭 no food no water when ever I pass by I take water and food with me because I know she's hungry and now they are big rats taking her food I saw one of the rats and they're really big I cry every time I see in those bad conditions sleeping with rats in the dirt 😿. I am so sorry is just am very sensitive when it comes to cats 😿 A man I know from (address) is moving all the renters out of the apartment and there's no one who will be able to take care of a old elderly cat she's very beautiful and every time i pass by I have a can of food for her😿 she's a very beautiful gentle cat and she's going to suffer because nobody wants to take her the house is at (address) is a building with lots of apartments she's always in the front porch and she has hardly no teeth and sometimes there's this Guy that mistreats her 😭 And about the old Kitty the guy looks like is not treating her Right 😿 the guy that use to live across from me live in the same building and he says that in October his moving back to Puerto Rico and the Kitty probably won't be around for too long because he's the one that feeds her no one else and me when ever I pass by there sometimes poor baby she looks so sad 😭”

How about Mr. Mango? He is coming up on almost a year in foster for no good reason! Please help us continue to do what we do by considering adopting our rescued babies from The Flats.
