Recently, 63 of our 10th grade Finance and Marketing pathway students at Withrow University High School participated in a presentation from the CPA firm, Deloitte.

Deloitte is one of the "Big 4" Accounting and Consulting firms, employing more than 400,000 employees across 150 countries. The American Institute of CPAs reports that only 2% are African American and 5% LatinX as compared to 14% and 19% of the US population. With 75% of CPAs at or above retirement age, the job outlook for accounting and auditing is growing.

This November, 20 Withrow students will have the opportunity to visit Deloitte's downtown office and further explore Accounting & Consulting as a career!

🎉 We are so proud to have received the 2026 Workforce Champion Award for Innovation! C*C’s Jobs for Cincinnati Graduates program was honored for integrating mentoring, employer-designed experiences, career pathways, and technology into a comprehensive youth workforce ecosystem.

The program served 331 graduates across 10 partner schools in 2026 and achieved a 98.8% graduation rate, a 76.4% employment rate, and an 85.2% positive outcome rate for participants who were employed, enrolled, or enlisted.

During Workforce Development Month in September, the Workforce Council of Southwest Ohio, along with partners, employers, educators, workforce professionals, and community leaders, celebrated the many people and organizations that are strengthening career pathways, removing barriers, supporting employers, and helping individuals build brighter futures. We are honored to be among them!
