We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who donated to the Light the World Giving machines found at Kenwood Mall over the 2025 holiday season. Because of your incredible generosity this holiday season, NeighborHub Health is able to provide more than just essential items, we're providing warmth, health, hope, and dignity to our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

Every donation represents more than a number, it represents a person who will have greater access to care, safety, and support because someone chose to give.

Winter Coats protect individuals from dangerous winter temperatures and reduce the risk of cold-related illness.

Cold weather sleeping bags offer extra warmth and a safer night's rest for those sleeping outdoors.

Two-day bus passes connect patients to medical appointments, shelters, employment opportunities, and other essential resources.

Vaccines help prevent the spread of serious illnesses and protect both individuals and our community.

Solar power banks keep phones charged so individuals can stay connected to healthcare providers, emergency services, family, and job opportunities.

EXCESSIVE HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT!

Stay safe with these heat tips:
• Drink plenty of water, even if you don't feel thirsty
• Stay in air-conditioned buildings whenever possible
• Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing
• Protect yourself with a hat and sunscreen
• Avoid strenuous outdoor activities during the hottest part of the day (10 AM – 4 PM)
• Check on neighbors, friends, and loved ones who may need extra help

Know the warning signs of heat illness:
• Heavy sweating, dizziness, nausea, muscle cramps, or headache may be signs of heat exhaustion
• Confusion, loss of consciousness, or a body temperature above 103°F are signs of heat stroke and a medical emergency. Call 911 immediately.

Our Offices Will Be Closed in Observance of Juneteenth

On Friday, June 19, our offices will be closed as we honor Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, resilience, and progress.

As an organization committed to ensuring access to care for all, we recognize the importance of reflecting on our shared history while continuing to work toward a healthier, brighter future for our communities.

We will resume normal business hours on Monday, June 22.
