We are a faith-based, recovery house that is certified through Ohio Recovery Housing. Serenity House is our men’s program that houses up to fifteen men.

Serenity House (men) 513-921-1989 House of Freedom and Miracles is our woman’s program that houses up to fifteen women. We offer a safe environment for men and women to build a solid foundation of a

bstinence-based recovery. Through a holistic approach utilizing the twelve steps and twelve traditions of recovery, a safe living environment with mutual support is created. Our program is structured strategically and provides residents with an optimistic opportunity for lifelong abstinence from drugs and alcohol. We offer a homelike environment with one-on-one guidance and mentorship from staff, 12-Step program participation, and referrals to outside agencies for GED programs, college admissions, job preparation, as well as other follow-up services. Our program was established in 2006 and has maintained a positive reputation and pillar in recovery housing in Cincinnati.

Because of the generosity of our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, donors, board members, and community partners, our 2026 Golf Outing raised $62,951 - far surpassing our $45,000 goal! Every dollar raised helps Serenity Recovery Network provide safe recovery housing, hope, and opportunities for individuals rebuilding their lives in recovery.

Did You Know?

At Serenity Recovery Network, every resident begins their journey with Shelter from the Storm. It's a program designed to provide a safe, supportive environment where individuals can focus on recovery and begin building a strong foundation for a new way of life.

During their first few weeks, residents participate in daily recovery-focused activities, including reading recovery literature, listening to speaker recordings, watching inspirational films, and discussing what they've learned with their house manager. They also attend twelve-step meetings, update resumes, search for employment, connect with community resources, and set personal goals.

To help residents focus on recovery during this critical transition, the first two weeks of Shelter from the Storm are provided rent-free, giving individuals the opportunity to begin rebuilding their lives without the immediate burden of housing costs.

This structured period gives residents the opportunity to adjust to sober living, develop healthy routines, and focus on their recovery without the distractions and triggers of their past environment. As they successfully complete the program and continue their recovery journey, they earn increased independence and responsibility.

Recovery starts with a strong foundation, and Shelter from the Storm helps make that possible.

Yesterday was a wonderful day on the course, and we are so grateful to everyone who made our 21st Annual Golf Outing such a success.

Thank you to all of our golfers, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and supporters who came together to support the mission of Serenity Recovery Network. Your generosity and commitment help provide hope, support, and opportunities for individuals working to rebuild their lives in recovery.

A special thank you goes out to our amazing volunteers who dedicated their time and energy throughout the day. We couldn't have done it without you. We would also like to recognize the incredible team from Impact 100 Cincinnati, whose volunteers helped make the event run smoothly from start to finish. Your support and willingness to serve made a tremendous difference.

Events like this are a reminder of how strong our community truly is. Because of your support, we can continue helping individuals and families find hope, healing, and a path forward in recovery.
