Now that’s what we call investing in the future! 🏦

More than 100 local students participated in this year's Fifth Third Day at the Bank — the largest turnout to date for these events across the communities Fifth Third serves!

Through United Way of Greater Cincinnati’s partnership with Fifth Third Bank, students explored banking, budgeting, saving and potential careers in finance.

Experiences like these help young people build financial confidence, explore new possibilities and develop skills that can shape their futures.

As our city lights up for BLINK, United Way of Greater Cincinnati welcomed community leaders, supporters and partners to A Brighter Tomorrow, an evening focused on what’s possible when we unite around our region’s future.

Together, we’re expanding opportunities for young people — from early childhood through school and into careers. We’re also working alongside families and neighborhoods to connect people with resources and solutions.

You’re probably thinking about 🎃, and we’re posting about 🎄. But making the holiday season brighter for local families starts earlier than you might think!

We’re recruiting volunteer shoppers for our annual Adopt-A-Family program. Signing up now gives volunteers time to shop and our team time to collect and distribute gifts to partner organizations before the holidays.

Many families who receive gifts are in kinship care arrangements, where relatives or other trusted adults step in to care for children when their parents are unable to do so. This way, children can stay stable and connected to people they know and trust while often navigating new responsibilities and unexpected changes.

By participating in Adopt-A-Family, you can help ease the added demands families may face and make the season more joyful.

What does it take to help young children thrive? Our Head Start Innovation Fund is giving us promising insights.

In the first year, all participating classrooms met or exceeded the goal of 80% average attendance and retained teachers at a higher rate.

These lessons are especially important as federal decision-makers consider changes to Head Start.
