It is that time again! Time to highlight Friday's Fabulous Featured Feline! Meet Whiskey! We were contacted about this beautiful friendly boy that showed up at a feral colony that was being fed. He was too nice to leave outside.

We took him in and after 30 plus days of quarantine, we tested him for fiv/felv. The test showed a very faint positive for leukemia so we ran an additional test - here is what the report said:

"These quantitative results are below 1.0x10^6 copies/mL and consistent with a regressive FeLV infection. Regressive FeLV infections are associated with lower levels of proviral DNA in circulating blood cells and lower amounts of FeLV p27 antigen in circulation. Cats with regressive infections are less likely to be infectious to other cats or to be sick due to an FeLV-associated disease. Cats with regressive infections may transmit FeLV by blood transfusion even if antigen negative. Cats with regressive infection may remain nonclinical or may revert to progressive infection in association with immunosuppression, stress or concurrent disease. Regressively infected cats may mount a sufficient immune response to eventually become PCR and/or antigen negative."

SOOOO- he is in a room by himself. We have him on a couple of supplements so hopefully he can fight off the leukemia. He is just so darn nice! AND he is a bit cross-eyed which is super cute. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and otherwise very healthy. He wants ATTENTION!!

Care to give this special boy a chance? He should be an only cat until we can retest in a few months....

Adoption fee $60. Born likely spring of 2024. Here is our application https://www.pfcatrescue.org/adoption-application/

Today’s Friday Fabulous Featured Feline is… drum roll please… TALIA! 💙

Please read to see if you might be that special someone with a BIG heart.

Talia is a beautiful lynx point/calico Siamese who was living outside. She was trapped and spayed, but it quickly became clear that she was far too friendly to return to life outdoors.

Talia is an absolute love bug and incredibly affectionate. She has the sweetest personality and is the kind of cat people dream about. She loves chin scratches, attention from her people, and showing off her gorgeous markings and striking blue eyes.

She is a calm, gentle girl who would love a quiet, loving home where she can relax and be adored. Talia enjoys playing with her toys, climbing on her cat tree, and watching the birds outside the window.

Unfortunately, Talia tested positive for feline leukemia (FeLV). She is currently on a supplement to help her stay as healthy as possible. Because FeLV is contagious to other cats, she will need to be the only cat in the household.

If you are looking for a single cat with a stunning Siamese look and a truly wonderful personality, Talia could be the perfect companion.

She is spayed, fully vaccinated, FIV negative, and microchipped, and was born around October 2024. Talia would do best in a home without dogs or young children.

If you are that special someone with a big ❤️ who would give this sweet, loving girl the chance at the wonderful forever home she deserves, please fill out our adoption application.

Application link is in the comments.

Truth be told...every rescue Purrfect Friends Cat Rescue is special to us. Really are. But some, require *extra special* care and attention. As is the case for our dearest duo, Dip & Dot🐾🐾.

Look at these DOLLS!!! Dip (peering at camera) & Dot (looking up) are almost 2 year-old, extremely bonded Sisters.♡✨️♡ They are so friendly and playful, as you see here!! But, unfortunately, at their recent vet check up the doctor heard strong heart murmurs. Thus, both now need an Echo and Cardiologist specialty visit...to determine if they have heart disease.

Each visit is estimated to be over $900, adding a near $2,000 onto our already substantial vet bills. Depending on the results, this precious-pair may require *up & above* care needs. Equating to more than normal cost output, for felines in our program.

Helping us with financial support, for this pop-up demand, would mean very much! To us. But more, to . We desperately want them to keep being their best happy selves. But we just gotta garner some community love, to make it be. 🙏

Yeah - we did not forget to post our Friday Fabulous Featured Feline! Meet Aiden - A Gentle Soul with a Heart of Gold

When you look into Aiden’s beautiful, soulful eyes, you’ll see pure love looking back at you. Not just any love - but deep, heartfelt love that speaks of resilience, gratitude, and a longing for connection. In rescue, we’ve learned that the cats who endure the unthinkable often emerge with the most incredible capacity for love. Aiden is one of those rare treasures - our little "fur-covered gold."

Aiden's story is one of quiet strength. He was found wandering alone in freezing temperatures, emaciated, dehydrated, and in unimaginable pain. His four tiny paws were swollen, infected, and so badly damaged that we couldn’t even comprehend the full extent of his suffering at first. X-rays later revealed a horrific truth: the bones in all four paws had been deliberately crushed. Two were so severely injured that Aiden ultimately lost half of each.

Despite it all, Aiden never gave up. He made it clear - he wanted to live. And so, we fought for him.

Healing was slow, requiring multiple rounds of painful debridement and round-the-clock care. But Aiden’s spirit never wavered. Today, he walks a bit differently, and his feet remain sensitive, but he navigates cushy floors with grace and even indulges in a little playtime mischief. He's more than his trauma - he’s silly, affectionate, and absolutely adores being brushed, massaged, and smothered in kisses. He would do best in a home that has lots of carpeted floors.

Aiden is a true lovebug. He craves affection even more than food and thrives on human companionship. He also seems to do well with gentle, cat-friendly companions.

Now, Aiden is ready for his forever home....a quiet, loving place where he can finally enjoy the comfort, safety, and endless TLC he’s always deserved.

✨ Aiden is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Estimated DOB: December 2022. Adoption fee: $60 Mercy is a buddy of his, if you would consider two!
