We just gotta turn this girls frown, upside down.🙃🙂 We just gotta!!

Meet Rosie💮. Who btw, is currently being housed & available to view at Colerain PetSmart through June 14th!

Rosie's luck began when she received help through Community Cat Network of Cincinnati. As she came into rescue, she needed some extra care and special medical attention. But once nursed back to health, her true personality quickly blossomed. And now, Rosie has proven to be one of the biggest lap cats and cuddle bugs around. If you're looking for a constant companion, she'll happily settle into your lap and stay there as long as you'll let her.

Rosie adoresssssss snuggling with her people and has the sweetest little vocalizations to let you know she's nearby or ready for some attention. Along with, enjoys having her long golden brown tabby coat brushed.

One of her most endearing quirks is perching on your shoulder like a bird. Whether she's supervising your daily activities or simply wanting to be as close as possible, she's really content riding along and taking in the world from her favorite spot.

Rosie has overcome a really rough start in life....but her perseverance has proven she's more than ready for a next, best Chapter sharing her endless affection with a family of her own!!💜

This girl is healthy, happy and ADOPTION READY! Rosie has been fully vetted through Purrfect Friends Cat Rescue, including: Negative FIV/FeLV combo test, microchip, excellent recent bloodwork results, full vaccination series, flea and tick treatment, and deworming. She is currently on a prescription diet to add more fiber into her diet and doing wonderfully on that.

Today’s Friday Fabulous featured feline! Vote for Pedro! Seriously vote that he gets adopted soon because this is one sweet boy. He was found on the side of an interstate, and thankfully captured before something bad happened to him. He has been a joy to Foster. He is very social and very sweet and loves attention. Meet a very special girl with an incredible .💜

Sparkly Toes 🪄— lovingly named by the children of one of our volunteers — first appeared on a local lost-and-found page as a friendly stray, believed to be declawed. (Which is extremely dangerous for felines in the outdoors, as they can't protect or defend themselves.) With that, a Purrfect Friends Cat Rescue volunteer immediately took her in to safety. As protocol, scanned for a microchip but none was found. Although she wasn’t actually declawed, it was clear she needed much more help of us.

Extremely thin and needing nourishment right away, plus medical attention, we wasted zero time. A vet appointment was scheduled ASAP and in she went for a veterinary exam. While purring through the entire visit — Sparkly Toes was diagnosed with not one, but two serious medical conditions: a mammary tumor and pyometra, a life-threatening uterine infection. Both conditions are commonly linked to cats not being spayed and are largely preventable.

The only way to save her life was through urgent, extensive surgery to remove both the infected uterus and mammary tumors. Sparkly Toes underwent surgery the very next day. There was no choice for us than to act.

Now, safely recovering in her foster home, Sparkly Toes continues to amaze everyone she meets. Through pain, fear, and recovery, she has never lost the sparkle in her eyes ️or her loving spirit. She is truly a fighter.

This emergency surgery was unexpected and extremely costly to our rescue. But! We're beyond grateful we were able to give Sparkly Toes the care she desperately needed. It saved her life.

Today, we’re asking for your support, to supplement her emergency procedure cost. Donations help us continue saying “yes” to cats like Sparkly Toes — the ones who need us most, often when time is running out. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps provide lifesaving medical care, safety, and a second chance.

As you can see, we have ALL THE LOVE to give this precious one. And our resources of time to provide post op treatment & dedicated attention toward healing. But we need support of monetary resources to keep her sparkle alive!✨️ Plus, reach the goal of bringing this girl to 100% health and find her furever home!

New intake, Jolene, got a bath today. This is not normally something we do or need to do - bathing cats - but she was particularly dirty from living outside. She’s wrapped up in warm towels to keep her from getting chilled.  Tomorrow she gets spayed!
