Yesterday, we cried.
Not out of sorrow—but because we witnessed God’s grace in motion.
A woman who recently lost her leg in an accident had just moved into a new home with her family. They had almost nothing. But thanks to Misfit Magic Makers, Exodus Sober Living Homes, and one generous community member, we were able to furnish their space with love, dignity, and joy.
From mattresses to bottled water, from chairs to comforters, we filled that home with sacred essentials and sacred presence. We didn’t just drop off furniture—we brought light. We prayed. We laughed. We cried. And we left knowing that God had shown up through every hand that helped.
This is what service looks like. This is what doing God’s work. Period. means.
If you’ve ever wondered how to make a difference—this is it.
If you’ve got time, strength, a truck, a heart, a prayer, or a dollar—there’s room for you.
