Southwest Sports Wellness Foundation SWSWF: Improving Access to Healthcare Services for Student-Athletes including injury eval & rehab

The Southwest Sports Wellness Foundation provides student athletes access to sports injury clinics, pre-participation exams, development training programs, scholarships, and educational opportunities. The foundation also provides educational opportunities and practical experience to health care professionals.

Registration is now open for CTE Sports Medicine students who have taken sports med I, II or III. Sign up to be the student athletic trainers for the sports teams under the supervision of the Athletic Trainers. Limited paid internship spots are available upon completion in partnership with . Students can register for EST290 Summer 2026 and EST251 advanced sports medicine for Fall 2026.
