Winston has been waiting for his forever home for nearly three years, but who’s counting? Apparently, we are! 🐾🩵

Rain or shine, we’ll keep showing up for him until someone else does.

Evee and Tesla spent yesterday morning at Social Fest, a fun dog social in Bonita!
A heartfelt thank-you to Good Girls SD and Pet Supply for bringing the rescue community together and creating opportunities like this for dogs still waiting for a home. Your kindness and commitment to rescue mean so much to us🩵.

Thank you to Pawstelitos & more for spoiling the pups with delicious treats! Evee and Tesla loved them!🐾
For dogs who have spent far too long waiting, moments like these offer a chance to be seen, included, and celebrated.

A dog’s breed shouldn’t determine how much their life matters.
Yet for countless pit bulls, it determines whether they get a chance at all.

October is Pit Bull Awareness Month. 🩷 Challenge the stereotypes. Speak up against discrimination. Be part of changing their reality.

This photo was taken in September 2025. Four dogs. One year later, only one has been adopted.

We keep showing up for them, for however long it takes. Not because their stories are sad, but because their lives are worth the commitment we made when we rescued them.

One photo. One year. Three still waiting. 🩵

If you’re new here, a little about us. 🐾

We’re a small rescue run by just Roni and Carla, both educators. We don’t have a shelter, a staff, or a team behind the scenes. All of our dogs are currently cared for in Tijuana, where we make sure they are safe and cared for while they wait for their families.

We believe every life matters, regardless of breed. The overlooked ones. The injured ones. The ones who may need a little more time or care. And especially the dogs who have been waiting far too long.

For some dogs, the wait is short. For others, it takes months, even years, to be chosen. Our commitment to every dog we rescue doesn’t change.

If you’re new here, welcome to our little corner of rescue. 🩵

Your Saturday morning plans just got two very cute additions. 🐾🍂

Tesla & Evee are heading to Social Fest this Saturday!
Come meet them, snap a few pictures, and see for yourself what these two are all about. 💜
Fair warning, they’re even cuter in person.

Another terribly hot day. 🥵☀️ Kitty, Tesla & Evee have the right idea. Find some shade, take it easy, and stay cool.

Please keep your pets indoors as much as possible, provide plenty of fresh water, and save those walks for when the pavement cools down. 🐾

Nearly 100° today, and Winston has the right idea. Shade, plenty of water, his favorite toy, and taking it easy. 🐾

Keep your pets cool and those paws off the hot pavement today. 🩵

Black dogs have never needed a special day to be special. But maybe they need one to make sure we stop long enough to notice them. 🐾

Today, on National Black Dog Day, it’s simply about seeing them. Because black is pretty unforgettable when you actually look. 🖤
