My name is A’lek, and I am a senior in high school. I serve as the social media manager and reporter for both SkillsUSA and SHS NAACP. Additionally, I am the head trainer at SHS, where I take pride in helping others achieve their best. I am passionate about leadership, communication, and making a positive impact in my community.

Jaden Johnson is a senior at SHS and the President of SHS NAACP. Jaden was born and raised in the queen city, Charlotte, North Carolina and moved to east NC recently now attending SHS. She’s Christ driven, and very miscellaneous. She does photography, track, flag football, is into dance, poetry, music, traveling, locs, etc and also makes content on tiktok. Upon being a member of many notable clubs, she is very proud to be a member of the Beaufort County Community Advisory Committee as well.

Dana Ransom is a senior this year at Southside. She is from Chocowinity N.C. where she was born and raised. She is currently the secretary of SHS Beta Club and the SHS NAACP. She currently participates in Softball and Volleyball at Southside. Her extracurriculars include things such as Travel softball and volunteering in her community. She is apart of the Lady Dukes Organization under Duke University and is very thankful for all the organization has done!

Jahmia Moore is a Senior of Southside high school who serves as the Vice President of the NAACP. In addition to her leadership role in the organization, she is actively involved as a head trainer, the president of the SkillsUSA club, and a member of the Beta Club. Through these roles, she demonstrates a commitment to empowering communities and taking on her responsibilities as the Vp. She is very excited to begin this year and very appreciative of the Naacp for all of its support!
