Dr. Pisano will present this very short story by Herman Melville, discovered as a manuscript after the author’s death. It was the last thing Melville ever wrote and holds fascinating clues to his life and the seaside places he held dear.

🎶 Calling Beaufort County students in grades 8–12 who love to sing—or would simply like to learn!

Arts of the Pamlico is proud to offer the Beaufort County Youth Community Chorus, directed by music educator Rachel Campbell.

This welcoming community chorus is a place for young people to build confidence, strengthen their musical skills, make new friends, and experience the joy of creating music together.

💚 No auditions required. All voice levels are welcome!

During rehearsals, students will explore the basics of singing, learn how to read music, grow as musicians, and prepare to share what they’ve learned in a community concert.

🎵 Rehearsals: Primarily Thursdays, 4:00–5:30 PM, October–December
📍 Location: Arts of the Pamlico Historic Turnage Theatre
🎤 Concert: Sunday, December 13 at 3:00 PM, in collaboration with the Beaufort County Choral Society
✨ Registration deadline: September 1
