These wonderful moments were captured yesterday during one of our Veterans Fishing Trips at the Ross County Conservation League. They are a beautiful reminder of what the mission of First Capital Ruck 22 is truly about.

Each month throughout the summer, we are honored to give local Veterans the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful day outdoors, spend time fishing, reconnect with fellow Veterans, and form friendships that continue long after the day is over.

A very special thank-you to the Ross County Conservation League for all of your hard work, dedication, and continued support in hosting these fishing trips. Your commitment helps make each outing a meaningful and memorable experience for our Veterans, and we are truly grateful for everything you do. ❤️

None of these special outings would be possible without the incredible support of our community. To everyone who participates in our fundraisers, volunteers their time, sponsors our events, or makes a donation to First Capital Ruck 22—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your generosity makes it possible for us to continue giving back to the brave men and women who have served our country.

🔥🍖 LEGION LEGENDS BEST OF BBQ 🍖🔥

What an incredible day we had yesterday ‼️
We are so grateful to everyone who helped make our Legion Legends Best of BBQ such a fun and successful event!

A huge THANK YOU to the American Legion in Waverly, Ohio, for hosting us. Their venue is absolutely gorgeous, and everyone had a wonderful time!

We also want to recognize our amazing BBQ competitors:

When we invited these three food trucks to compete in a blind taste test to determine the best BBQ, they eagerly said YES! Each one has a heart for helping with veteran fundraisers and supporting those who have served our country. We truly appreciate their generosity and community spirit!

🍰 Thank you to Reckless Treats for joining us and serving the most delicious sweet treats. Everyone enjoyed them!

🇺🇸 A special thank-you to Veteran Signature Jeep for bringing the Signature Jeep to our event. Our Veterans and active-duty military members truly enjoyed adding their signatures and becoming part of something so meaningful.

🏆🔥 CONGRATULATIONS TO LOCK 44 OF WAVERLY, OHIO! 🔥🏆

LOCK 44 was crowned the WINNER of our Legion Legends BBQ Cook-Off!

A HUGE shout-out and heartfelt thank-you to all of our amazing competitors:

Each competitor generously served FREE BBQ samples for four hours to everyone attending our event—and we truly cannot thank them enough!

After the votes were counted, Lock 44 earned the ultimate BRAGGING RIGHTS for being voted the BEST BBQ! They took home a $250 cash prize and a HUGE trophy! 🏆💵

Our Legion Legends BBQ Cook-Off was a HUGE success, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who participated, volunteered, attended and supported our event!
