Our team enjoyed hanging out at the Chillicothe Halloween Festival over the weekend! Thanks to everyone who stopped by or supported us. This was a great event and crowd! 🎃

Check out a few moments at our booth...

Free comics and new, inexpensive Halloween-related comic books, plus more! Find us starting tomorrow afternoon along the middle sidewalk of the park, sort of towards the YMCA end. Should be a nice weekend!

(It was windy when we set up).

You made it through your Monday and Tuesday, so why not start thinking about the weekend? We hope your plans include the Chillicothe Halloween Festival. Find our booth in Yoctangee Park from Friday through Sunday, and pick up some free comics. You can also purchase items to support our expenses, as none of our staff or board are paid. We can't wait to enjoy the festivities with everyone! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Proclaimed by each president since 1988, from September 15 to October 15, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month. It's "a time to celebrate the heritage, history, traditions, and cultural diversity of Hispanic Americans whose heritage is rooted in Spain and 19 countries and territories: Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic."

There are a lot of neat Latino comic creators and characters. Check one out today!

We had a great time hearing from Sandy Plunkett yesterday about his professional experience in comics and how his art shows us some of the history of southern Ohio. Glad to see some interested people of all ages there!

Thank you to our sponsors Adena Mansion & Gardens and Serenity Wellness Center.

Tomorrow! Come on up the hill to hear from artist Sandy Plunkett, who's done work for Marvel, DC, and many organizations right here in southern Ohio. There will be food, drinks, and plenty of parking at the Visitors' Center. The event is free, though donations to Adena Mansion & Gardens or our organization are welcome.

Tell a friend! Thank you to our colleagues at Ross-Chillicothe Convention and Visitors Bureau for sharing this event in your weekly email.
