Chico Running Club

Chico Running Club The CRC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to keeping the sports of running and walking alive.

We historically have hosted four races in Chico each year and have a group run every Saturday morning at 8am beginning at One Mile outside the bathrooms in the parking lot north of the pool (on the side of Vallombrosa Way). We also organize occasional “field trip” runs to other fun locations, announced on our page.

Get Ready for the 4th of July 5k

We’ve got just 3 weeks to go! That means you’ve got just 1 week left to snag this year’s awesome race tee shirt before orders close.

This year brings an all-new course, a fresh route (thanks to the soon to be newly repaved park road). We’re dialing in the final details, but get ready for a unique run through Lower Park.

Don’t forget: this event supports the Chico Striders Run Strong Scholarship, helping build opportunities for local youth runners. We’re excited to keep the momentum going!

The Cedar Grove Scamper - Presented by Chico Running Club is on Sunday May 17, 2026. It includes the following events: 4 Miler: Open Divison (All Ages) and 4 Miler: Master's Division (Age 40+).
