Bright Endeavors

Bright Endeavors Bright Endeavors candles transform lives. 100% of sales supports our mission to provide job training to young moms.

As a social enterprise of New Moms, we are part of a mission to strengthen families by partnering with young moms as they progress toward housing stability, economic mobility, and family well-being. At Bright Endeavors, young moms engage in a comprehensive, paid job training program where they gain career skills, a professional network, and a set of tools to help them thrive in their chosen profession, all while learning what is required to power a manufacturing and distribution operation for our growing home fragrance brand. Every purchase from Bright Endeavors and our partners across the country directly supports our job training program.

New in the shop: our Brass Wick Trimmer. A trimmed wick gives you a steady flame, less soot and smoke, and an even melt pool so the fragrance spreads through your space the way it should. The long, angled design reaches wicks deep inside the vessel, and the built-in catch cup holds the trimmed piece so nothing drops into the wax. Trim to about 1/4 inch before each burn and let your candle cool completely between uses. Add one to your order today at our link in bio.

We are honored to be one of the Employment Social Enterprises featured at CJC Presents: The Impact Exchange, the Chicago Jobs Council Fall Friendraiser on Thursday, October 8, from 5:00 to 8:30 PM on the rooftop at Midwest Coast Brewing.

The evening celebrates mission-driven organizations that create jobs for people facing barriers to work, and it comes shortly after Illinois formally recognized Employment Social Enterprises in state law, opening new access to funding and programming.

At Bright Endeavors, young moms in our job training program hand-pour every candle while building skills, earning income, and working toward long-term economic independence. You'll find us at the Fall Friendraiser alongside other organizations doing this work, plus you'll enjoy networking, appetizers, local craft b**r, and a raffle that gives back. We would love to see you there, so grab your spot at cjc.net/fallfriendraiser.

It’s diffuser swap day at my house. Fall is in the air and I am tucking away my Heirloom Tomato diffuser (till next summer, old friend!) and replacing it with the Coffee & Cashmere diffuser. One reed is perfect for my small house that needs a constant flow of beautiful scent. What’s your favorite Bright Endeavors product and how do you use it? Let me know in the comments!
