We're feeling a little nostalgic today. 💖

As we look back on last year's gala, we're reminded of the joy, generosity, and incredible community that came together to make such a meaningful impact for girls across Chicagoland. Now, we can't wait to do it all again.

Our team is always learning! 💙

Girls on the Run-Chicago staff member KaMia recently had the opportunity to attend the Nike Coach Summit alongside GOTR coaches from our Washington Elementary team in Riverdale. Inspired by keynote speaker & former WNBA player Elena Delle Donne and sessions on intentional coaching, inclusivity, and creating positive team environments, she came away with fresh ideas that reinforce what we believe: coaching is about creating experiences where every girl feels seen, heard, and supported.

We can't wait to bring these learnings into our fall season as we continue creating spaces where every participant can build confidence, connection, and joy. Fall programming is right around the corner! 😉

Happy Medal Monday!
What a weekend. From making friendship bracelets at the West Side Wellness Fest, to celebrating with our 13.1 team at , to cheering until the very last runner crossed Mile 8.25 at the Bank of America Chicago 13.1, we were reminded just how powerful this community is.
This weekend brought together coaches, alumni, parents, volunteers, donors, race organizers, and runners of every pace and experience level, all united by a shared belief in creating opportunities for girls across Chicagoland.
Thank you to our SoleMates, who have raised more than $55,000 to support Girls on the Run Chicago, and to , , Vanessa Rodriguez Payne, and for sharing your time, encouragement, and support with our team throughout race weekend.

Can you believe it's been two weeks since our Girls on the Run-Chicago Spring 5K in Grant Park!? From start‑line nerves to finish‑line cheers, our Girls on the Run 5K was filled with joy, strength, and community. We are so proud of every girl and Running Buddy who showed up and showed courage! 🌟
