Now that school is back in session for some (or for all), one of the challenges Youth for a Better Future supports is providing safe spaces, learning spaces, and academically supportive spaces for youth, predominantly from families facing financial barriers.

We were happy and lucky to kick off Pizza & Movies Fridays, happening every other Friday!

This past Friday, our youth enjoyed pizza, a screening of , and some mentorship during video game time.

It was an honor to join agent extraordinaire Reggie Brown of Priority Sports for another year of solid camp work.
Our campers had a blast adding to their 10,000 hrs of perfecting their passion craft. We love stacking days and exploring the possibilities.

Our young bull got a chance to showcase their talent and eagerness to play and learn the sport of basketball at alderman Walter Burnett Redd’s Walter Redmond Burnett back to school picnic we had a lot of first place winners- shout out to the gift cards.

Our goal was to create a constructive space where young people could discover their unique gifts, embrace their creativity, and build confidence through hands-on learning. From design projects to new skills and meaningful experiences, this summer was about helping every participant realize that their individuality is their greatest strength.

As we wrap up another incredible Summer Camp, we’d love for you to join us tonight to celebrate. Come see the amazing work our youth have created, hear testimonials from our staff and participants, and support a cause that’s investing in the next generation.
