No regular weekly meeting for us this week! The club is officially in post-Apple Fest recovery mode after a massive weekend. (IYKYK) Huge thanks to everyone who came out, supported businesses like our friends at Rockwell's Neighborhood Grill, and helped make it a success!

Quick heads-up: Our Board of Directors will be meeting virtually tomorrow night for their monthly meeting.

🍻 Cheers to Ending Polio!

October is officially here, which means our annual Pints for Polio campaign is back! All month long, we’re partnering with your favorite local spots to raise funds for Rotary’s global effort to eradicate polio, one pint at a time.

Every pint purchased at participating locations during October directly supports polio eradication efforts worldwide.

📍 First Stop: Rockwell's Neighborhood Grill

When: Saturday, October 17th

Where: 4632 N Rockwell St

Grab a table, order a pint, and support a great cause right here in our neighborhood!

Stay tuned as we announce more partner locations, special events, and featured spots popping up all month leading up to World Polio Day on October 24th.

Instead of our regular meeting layout, we're changing things up this week. Tomorrow night, we’re moving out of the coffee shop side and gathering in the larger main bar area at GoodTimes Brewery to join in on the weekly Music Bingo!

We’ve been eyeing the game for a while, and we finally get to test our trivia and music knowledge together as a club. Whether you’re a music buff or just coming for the great conversation and brews, come hang out!

Persistence pays off! After two years of planning, collecting books, and searching for the right location, the Rotary Club of Chicago Lakeview successfully installed our community Little Free Library this past weekend.

Projects like this remind us what service is all about: bringing neighbors together and creating lasting community impact. A massive thank you to our incredible host family, all the club members, and donors like you who turned this vision a reality.

Following last week's productive prep meeting, we're officially installing our Little Free Library this weekend! 📖

This Wednesday, we shift gears to finalize our annual Pints for Polio fundraiser. All October long, we’re teaming up with local bars, breweries, and ice cream shops to raise critical funds for polio eradication. 🍺
