Most philanthropy courses end with a grade, but Melissa Berman's ends with a grant💲

📚 In her global philanthropy courses at Columbia Business School and Tsinghua University, students spend weeks evaluating real proposals from organizations in our Bold Solutions Network working on difficult societal challenges, then they select one to receive $75,000 - $100,000.

💡 It’s a new pathway connecting vetted ideas, emerging donors and philanthropic capital – and we’re proud to partner with these amazing students to direct more support to fantastic organizations.

Although it was not selected as a finalist or awardee in The Trust in American Institutions Challenge, its work resonated with the Network of Engaged International Donors (NEID Global)’s Trust Giving Circle members, who chose to support the organization.
