Go, Vic, Go! Pullman Scholar Alumnus Vic Andrade is getting closer to joining us in Chicago at the Pullman Scholar Symposium next week after finishing his incredible journey! In case you missed it, Vic (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, 1978) is in the midst of an amazing cross-country journey bicycling the legendary Route 66 from Santa Monica all the way to Chicago. Along the way, he’s raising awareness for the Pullman Educational Foundation by inviting family and friends to donate to the Foundation in his honor. We were thrilled to host the National Scholarship Providers Association Chicago Regional Meeting at the Pullman Educational Foundation office yesterday!

A few days ago, Vic started an epic journey bicycling the legendary Route 66, riding from Santa Monica all the way to Chicago. Current scholars were joined by two recent Pullman Scholar alumni to discuss the current job market, what they can do to stand out, what challenges they've had, and how to adapt to a rapidly changing professional landscape. It was a great discussion and a chance for Pullman Scholars to remember they are never navigating this journey alone!
