October LYP Schedule

Lyric’s season is kicking off, and there are plenty of opportunities to catch LYP at the opera!

2026 Ryan Opera Center Final Auditions: October 4
Join us at this free event to watch more than 20 finalists representing the world’s finest emerging artists audition for a spot in The Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Opera Center's 2027/28 Ensemble. This is a unique opportunity to hear opera's future stars and participate by voting for the Audience Favorite Award: https://www.lyricopera.org/shows/upcoming/2026-27/2026-final-auditions/

Don Giovanni at Lyric: October 13, 15, 24
The Lyric Opera of Chicago 2026/27 Season kicks off with a thrilling fable of deceit and retribution. Under the baton of Music Director Enrique Mazzola, sharp humor, high drama, and an exquisite score intertwine in the story of a charismatic seducer whose unrepentant lustfulness brings about a most spectacular demise. LYP members can receive discounted tickets for select Medley Nights and are encouraged to meet up with the group during intermission: https://www.lyricopera.org/shows/upcoming/2026-27/don-giovanni?gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=24191763256&gbraid=0AAAAA-D4NFM8peZny6ayQTGATDd4imhJD&gclid=CjwKCAjww-3VBhAcEiwAwUUIu-ZKfT8oZTCq-ypIBsttPrccXtyMl3jOCgDbICSl-71T71OIe6zQdRoCqtcQAvD_BwE
