CHICAGO SLIM® PRESENTS: 🔥🎸 MAXWELL STREET BLUES REVIVAL® 🎸🔥. . This weekend we’re bringing a little piece of old Maxwell Street to America’s Blues Birthday Party at Veterans & Smith Park in Lyons (https://tinyurl.com/3uazdxbm)! Two big days of blues with some seriously badass company - Mud Morganfield Band, The Stephen Hull Experience featuring Sean “Mack” McDonald, Bob Corritore and His Chicago Blues Revue, Dwayne Dopsie & The Zydeco Hellraisers, Demetria Taylor Band, The Special 20’s and a whole pile of other great musicians keeping this music ALIVE.

And on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, Maxwell Street Blues Revival hits the main stage from 12:45-1:30 PM.

Anji Brooks . . Lynne Jordan . . South Side Stevie . . Chicago Slim. Four people. One stage. No museum exhibit. No embalming fluid. Just that raw, soulful, unpredictable MAXWELL STREET SOUND - rooted in Chicago and played like the music is still supposed to be dangerous, joyful and ALIVE.
