​This year’s keynote address will be delivered by Illinois Supreme Court Justice Sanjay T. Tailor, and we will present the LAGBAC Foundation Advocate Award to Aurora Austriaco, Shareholder at Valentine Austriaco and Bueschel, P.C.

Many thanks to everyone who joined us at the Lavender Law Rooftop Celebration last week! It was the perfect way to close out the Lavender Law Conference and Career Fair, bringing together an incredible group of professionals for an evening of networking, connection, and celebration.

As Pride Month came to a close, the Supreme Court issued a decision that has left many in our community feeling hurt and uncertain. We know this news is difficult, and we want our transgender and gender non-conforming siblings to know that you are not alone.

We’ve put together this brief overview to explain what the decision means, what it does not mean, and to remind you that your dignity, worth, and humanity remain unchanged. We stand with you today and every day.
