Cards for Hospitalized Kids

Cards for Hospitalized Kids Doctors provide medicine and CFHK provides hope, joy & magic through uplifting, handmade cards. Over 500,000 cards have been distributed since CFHK’s inception.

Cards for Hospitalized Kids (CFHK) is a charity that distributes uplifting, handmade cards to Children’s Hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses across the country. Doctors provide the medicine and CFHK provides hope, joy & magic through our cards. CFHK was founded in 2011 by high school student named Jen Rubino. Jen’s own experiences las a "hospitalized kid", undergoing 20+ surgeries, inspired her to start CFHK to help others. While CFHK began as a small, local endeavor, it has gone far beyond. Using CFHK’s guidelines, individuals and groups (schools, companies, teams, etc) across the country, and abroad, donate their time + creativity to make cards and send them to CFHK for distribution. Each card is unique, just like the child or teen who receives it. People of all ages and artistic skill levels can get involved with CFHK and make cards. Students can also earn service hours for making cards for CFHK. In addition to cards, CFHK also provides autographs from our celebrity and athelte supporters such as: Olympians Nastia Liukin, Jon Horton, Danell Leyva, Jordyn Wieber, Aly Raisman & more, MTV Star Lauren Conrad, Actress AnnaSophia Robb, Singers Jesse McCartney & Cody Simpson, and many more.

Time for our weekly spotlight of company cards! We're so grateful for the companies and stores nationwide who get involved. In many cases, these companies match their employees time volunteering with a financial donation to CFHK which has been incredibly impactful!

This week's spotlight shows some
of the recent companies who donated Halloween cards includeing --> Apple Wells Fargo Old Navy Sephora Target Capital One, and so many others—for helping us to bring smiles and encouragement to kids in the hospital 💛

Outgoing themed care package to a cancer patient including Frozen doll, 3d card & cards, art set, autograph by Kristen Bell and more! We send care packages like this out every week now thanks to supporters like YOU!
