💚 Help restore the magic of House In The Wood.

After severe July storms caused significant damage to our beloved camp, we were forced to cancel the first three sessions of summer camp, impacting hundreds of children who were looking forward to an unforgettable experience.

While insurance will cover much of the physical damage, it won’t restore the trails, outdoor learning spaces, camp equipment, and special places where children build confidence, connect with nature, and create lifelong memories.

Every gift helps bring House In The Wood back to life for this generation of campers and those still to come.

A special congratulations to our Early Childhood Education graduates!
This week, we celebrated an important milestone as our youngest learners crossed the stage and prepared for their next adventure: kindergarten. We are honored that their families trusted Northwestern Settlement to nurture, educate, and inspire their children during these formative early years.🎓⭐️

As these graduates take their next steps, we’re reminded that every journey begins somewhere. For more than 135 years, Northwestern Settlement has helped children, families, and neighbors build strong foundations and pursue brighter futures. We are proud to be part of these students’ stories and can’t wait to see all they accomplish.🧑‍🧑‍🧒

Every dollar we raise supports Northwestern Settlement and our mission to disrupt generational poverty. Together with participating organizations, we’re working toward a collective goal of $5 million to help more children and families access the food they need to thrive.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Sunday for our Flag Day Open House at House in the Wood! 🇺🇸🌲

We loved welcoming families, friends, supporters, and community members to camp and sharing what makes House in the Wood such a special place.

A special thank you to our incredible camp staff for all their hard work in making the day possible and creating such a warm, welcoming experience.

We’re grateful to everyone who spent part of their weekend with us and helped celebrate the life-changing experiences House in the Wood provides for youth. We hope to see you again soon! 🏕️💙
