We’re trying to build something! And we’ve noticed you noticing us!

Public spaces require a public commitment and we’re excited to announce the next initiative in our community building repertoire… a team dedicated to programming public events, fundraisers, and community engagement initiatives at Eckhart Park. We’re hoping to serve a wider community in our programming efforts and we welcome folks interested in volunteering to help bring that to life. No matter your experience level, or availability to commit, we’d love your input.

Attention cinephiles: This Wednesday, join us in the fields of Eckhart Park at 8:45 pm for a screening of The Straight Story, directed by David Lynch. This Movies in the Parks screening is being co-sponsored by standingpassengers and Eckhart Park Advisory Council

Movies start promptly at dusk and bathrooms will remain open for the duration of the film. Come early and grab some popcorn, bring a blanket or a chair, and settle in for this 90’s classic.

Registration is open now for Eckhart Park’s inaugural Youth Garden Club. We’ll meet Tuesday evenings at 5:30 from June 16-August 18, with rain out days taking place on Wednesdays.

This year’s growing theme is “Roots of the Neighborhood”. Come discover the diverse culinary flavors found in our own community.

The Inaugural Eckhart Park Farmer’s Market kicks off tomorrow at 9am with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and music from Tom Compton. Check out our vendors and so much more!

This is a volunteer led farmer’s market put on by the Eckhart Park Advisory Council. All proceeds to benefit community programming and improvements at Eckhart Park!

See you tomorrow at Eckhart Park from 9am-1pm!

Introducing our latest youth program, The Eckhart Park Youth Garden Club. This group will utilize the eight raised garden beds in the front yard of the field house.
