Registration is open now for Eckhart Park’s inaugural Youth Garden Club. We’ll meet Tuesday evenings at 5:30 from June 16-August 18, with rain out days taking place on Wednesdays.

This year’s growing theme is “Roots of the Neighborhood”. Come discover the diverse culinary flavors found in our own community.

The Inaugural Eckhart Park Farmer’s Market kicks off tomorrow at 9am with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and music from Tom Compton. Check out our vendors and so much more!

This is a volunteer led farmer’s market put on by the Eckhart Park Advisory Council. All proceeds to benefit community programming and improvements at Eckhart Park!

Introducing our latest youth program, The Eckhart Park Youth Garden Club. This group will utilize the eight raised garden beds in the front yard of the field house. Rain or shine, we’ll be outside on the driveway or inside the gymnasium. TWO Bounce Houses, obstacle courses, crafts, games, & popcorn! We have three 1-hr sessions starting at 9, 10, & 11am. Click the link in bio for tickets!

Your voice matters! As we come to the end of another year, we would like to hear from all of you about any and all safety and security concerns you may have at Eckhart Park or in the surrounding neighborhood. The Chicago Park District is looking to institute new, practical and effective safety measures at our parks in the coming year. Eckhart Park is one of four parks city-wide that is being used to research and design new security measures and your input is invaluable.

Join us for pancakes with Santa on December 20th! We’re hosting two sessions, at 9am & 10:30am, where each child will be served mini pancakes and other treats while making holiday crafts and writing letters to Santa. Then, have your picture taken with the big guy!
