Our quarterly Resume Clinic with Aquinas Literacy Center brought volunteers and job seekers together to update resumes, complete applications, and take meaningful steps toward new opportunities. Stay tuned for the next clinic!

On February 19, leaders of the Gage Park community went canvassing to collect signatures for a bigger and better library that they deserve. 📚

Every signature brought us one step closer to change. Together, we collected more than 2,000 signatures, showing that Gage Park is united in the fight for a bigger, better library for everyone. 💙

In November 2025, lifelong Gage Park resident and mother Diana Ruiz spoke before the Chicago Public Library Board, urging members to invest in a bigger and better library for Gage Park. She shared the experiences of local families, including her own, and called for a library that is welcoming, functional, and equipped with the resources children and residents need to thrive.

What an incredible day for Gage Park! 💙📚

This past saturday, the Gage Park Fair brought together neighbors, friends, and families for an afternoon full of great food, fun, music, and community—all in support of a bigger and better library for Gage Park.

Thank you to everyone who came out, donated, volunteered, and showed love to our neighborhood. Your support brings us one step closer to creating the library our community deserves.

A special thank you to Aquinas Literacy Center as Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights and Southwest Action Network for helping make this event possible.

Together, we’re building something bigger, better, and stronger for Gage Park. ❤️
