HANA Action and Asian American Midwest Progressives for People Powered Campaigns are hosting a panel discussion with democratic candidate for State Rep (HD-40) Miguel Alvelo Rivera and grassroots leaders from 33 Ward Working Families. We will learn about how 33WF and Miguel ran their energetic campaign and how they approach electoral organizing through the lens of community organizing.

We are thrilled to celebrate Analilia Mejia as the District 11’s next Representative. 🥳

New Jersey Congressional District 11, where Analilia won her race, is home to roughly 60,000 Asian American voters. NAKASEC Action Fund New Jersey outreached to Asian American voters with in-language information and resources.

As we’ve said for years, Asian American voters will play increasingly large roles in determining the future of this country - and we are honored to play a role in making sure our community is seen, valued, and listened to.

We are thrilled that Analilia, a longtime champion and fighter for immigrants, workers, and families, will be our next Representative! ✊

Teamwork makes the dream work. 🙌🏼 that’s why SEIU Virginia 512 and Hamkae Power are teaming up to protect fair elections. 🤜🤛

Republicans are trying to rig the mid-term elections by redrawing district lines in their favor.

But states like Virginia are fighting back.

By redrawing our own district lines for the next 4 years, we can keep the balance of power in check. ✊🏽 This is just one way we're fighting to stop tyrants from dismantling our democracy + keeping power for themselves.

Join us this Saturday! We'll knock doors, make phone calls, and talk with Asian American voters across Virginia and urge them to vote YES on April 21!
