Gates Athletic Association Gates Athletic Association (GAA) is a non-profit organization offering sports for boys and girls GAA Board positions have alternating terms for service.

Officers are elected every two years. The current GAA Board of Directors is as follows:

It's a great day to be a Gator!
Today we recognized three outstanding Gator alumni and presented them with their awards as recipients of the 2026 Gates Gator Scholarship.
We wish Brody Vaden, Lilly Leonard, and Jenna Keefer nothing but success and look forward to their futures.

We are proud and excited to announce the 2026 Gates Athletic Association Gator Scholarship Recipients.

Lilly Leonard, graduating from Thomas Dale, will continue her education at Old Dominion University.

Jenna Keefer, graduating from St. Catherine's, will be attending Furman University.

Brody Vaden, graduating from Matoaca, will be attending Emory and Henry University.
