Enjoy the longest day of the year with us and receive a free item! ☀️

Play All Day VA is a statewide initiative celebrating the longest day of the year with play. This year, the event will take place on Sunday, June 21.

In observance of the event, community members who visit Rockwood Nature Center or Henricus Historical Park on June 21 will receive a free item, while supplies last!

Check out an array of native reptiles and amphibians at Rockwood Nature Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, or voyage back in time at Henricus Historical Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday food distribution
Hey Community! BIG UPDATE!! Note our schedule change! No Wednesdays.

We are consolidating!!

🥬Our plan is to have ONE BIG GIVEAWAY on Saturdays (2:30 pm).🥬

Things could change, and there is always possibility of popups in case of surprise abundance, but at least for now, our Wednesday giveaways are over. SUMMER SATURDAYS ARE WHERE IT’S AT!

Meanwhile, Fonticello Food Forest, just down the road, is pressing pause on their 3rd Saturdays, while still doing their thing at noon on Wednesdays.

~As always, all are welcome. No ID check, no means testing, no hassle. Come get what you need!~

Park Notice: Dorey Park (June 20)

-We wanted to make sure you're aware that there will be heavy traffic on Darbytown Road tomorrow, June 20, near Dorey Park because of the Juneteenth Celebration. 🕺🏾
-The spray park at Dorey will close at noon, as we prepare for the event. We encourage you to visit Taylor Farm Park or EHRC.
-We will have a fireworks show at 9:45pm. However, you will not be able to see the fireworks unless you're in the park.
