Good news! The Children’s Indoor Playroom has been reopened and is once again available for families to enjoy.

While additional repairs may still be needed in the coming weeks, we are pleased to be able to safely reopen the space for now. If a temporary closure becomes necessary to complete final repairs, we will provide advance notice whenever possible.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support as we continue working to keep our facilities safe and welcoming for everyone. We’re excited to see little ones back enjoying the playroom!

The Lake Chelan Community Center would like to inform the community that water damage within the facility has made it necessary to temporarily close the Children’s Indoor Playroom, effective immediately.

The playroom will remain closed until repairs can be completed and the space can be safely reopened.

We understand how much families enjoy this popular area and regret any disappointment or inconvenience this temporary closure may cause. Our team is working as quickly as possible to make the necessary repairs and restore the playroom for community use.

We appreciate your patience and understanding and will share updates as they become available.

The free Kids Play Area at the Lake Chelan Community Center just got even more fun!

We’ve added a MagWiz Magnet Board—a hands-on magnetic play experience that encourages creativity while building STEM skills, fine motor development, problem-solving, and sensory engagement.

Whether your little one loves to build, explore, create, or experiment, the MagWiz board offers endless opportunities for learning through play.
